Symapathy for Cats

Somehow hunting doesn't seem so manly when your hunting lil' tweety birds with a slug gun but I'm it sure is a lot harder... and actually they're not lil' tweety birds they're vicious cherry eating black birds (trapped inside the bird netting covering the orchard)with a 10NZD bounty on their heads.

So far we've progressed from stalking them, to searching them out in the trees at night to the final method ... Drive by shooting!! Well not exactly more stalking with a car. For some reason the birds seem to think the car is dome kind of large beign herbivore and ignore it untill quite close. So far 8 dead birds but at least 3 to go. ..... y,y,y,y,y I know killing animals is bad but they're evil.

Matti's Graduation

And I'm off to my little brother's graduation. Then it's off to Cromwell (Ripponvale Road somewhere) will be mostly there till a little after xmas.

Inland Revenue welcomes me home ... awww

For the first time in ages my student loan actually went down today, about 1.3K!! (admittedly all penalties) and I didn't pay a cent. Horray for the nice helpful people at Inland Revenue.

And right on time (2 Dec) the weather brakes and the sun comes out (still snow on the hills though) I guess summer might just have arrived. Pictured is my parents cherry orchard where I was working last weekend.
